- We just received/installed the R4000 upgrade for our 4d/310 VGX that
- was purchased under the Performance Protection Plan. Now I want to
- know:
-
- What's the difference between the machine I have and a Crimson, besides
- the fact that the machine isn't red and I don't have a label on top that
- says 'Crimson' on it?
-
- [actually, the field engineer who did the install DID put a new label
- on the chassis, but it says 'R4000-50 VGX']
-
- I'm assuming both systems are 50MHz R4000 IP17's, but beyond that I
- really haven't a clue. Is it correct to refer to this machine as a
- 4d/Crim? If not, what's the proper designation?
-
- Just curious, mostly.
-
- cheers,
- sr.
