- Many people have, at least to Indigos. For the Indigo you need to buy a
- standard Macintosh serial port to MIDI converter box available from
- most musical instrument stores and many computer stores.
-
- For the 340 VGX, you will need a special rs232 to MIDI converter box
- called the Midiator made by Key Electronics, 7515 Chapel Avenue, Fort
- Worth, TX 76116. Telephone 1 800 533 MIDI. Call them for the name of
- your nearest dealer. If you want absoolutely precise timing to within a
- couple of milliseconds, you may have some trouble unless you dedicate a
- processor to feeding MIDI. We ship a special MIDI streams driver, that
- provides the required accuracy even on single processor systems, as
- part of the Digital Media Development option. Unfortunately it is
- currently only available for the Indigo.
