- Novice question: does SGI support the alternate character set defined
- in curses.h by #define A_ALTCHARSET 000100000000L ?
- The latest version of gopher (1.1) uses this to draw a box, but on the
- SGI console all you get is a mess of letters. Is there some way to use
- an extended character set so that these "business graphics" appear?
-
- The box is drawn correctly when I log in from a PC as a terminal.
-
- Is this perhaps just a matter of choosing the right screen font? If so,
- how do I know which fonts support line drawing characters?
