- You probably have a loose connector or terminator somewhere as a
- result of the move, or somebody didn't reinstall something after
- the move.
-
- | Does anybody know what happened ?
- |
- | Also I noticed some time early, there're another message :
- |
- | Jan 5 17:44:02 fuzzy unix: dks0d1s1: Media error: ID CRC or ECC error,.
- | Block #37722 (72957)
- | Jan 5 17:44:02 fuzzy unix: dks0d1s1: Swap out failed blkno 0x92A8 (page
- | still in memory)
-
- The media error definitely indicates a problem on the disk. Since this
- was on a write, it is a real media error. Whether it happened as part
- of your move or not would be tough to say. Since it is in the swap
- partition, you could *carefully* run an fx wr-cmp exercise pass
- over *just the swap area* to find and spare any bad blocks. Use
- the standalone fx, or run it in single user mode, being careful to
- do nothing that would cause any swapping while you do the fx.
