  13. Under IRIX 4.0.1, the manual browser Xman version 3.1.4-X11R4
  14. frequently crashes xdm.  In the SYSLOG I find error messages from
  15. UNIX about a FIFO buffer getting too full, then the pipe getting broken.

  17. Obviously, for some reason the browser is stuffing bytes into the
  18. buffer faster than X-windows can keep up.

  20. What can I do to stop this annoying problem?  Right now I am just
  21. using man in a terminal window, but that is a pain in the keister...
