- Under IRIX 4.0.1, the manual browser Xman version 3.1.4-X11R4
- frequently crashes xdm. In the SYSLOG I find error messages from
- UNIX about a FIFO buffer getting too full, then the pipe getting broken.

- Obviously, for some reason the browser is stuffing bytes into the
- buffer faster than X-windows can keep up.

- using man in a terminal window, but that is a pain in the keister...
