- I've added a second SCSI disk to my Indigo on which I've installed the
- 4.0.5 release. To check out the new release, I'm trying to boot from the
- second disk, using the PROM monitor:
-
- boot -f dksc(0,2)/unix
-
- Well, it boots, but still seems to want to use the 1st SCSI disk (the
- original system disk in the lowest slot) for root and /usr filesystem.
-
- What other options do I need to `normally' boot from the 2nd disk? Where
- do I find full (user) documentation of the PROM monitor? Where do I find
- the full range of PROM environment variables documented?
-
- Thanks very much for your help.
