- Look in '/usr/spool/lp/interface/your_printer_name' on the machine
- where the printer is physically attached.

- The variable to set is BANNER (=0). Be sure to stop/start the printer
- scheduler to make the change effective (/usr/lib/lpshut and
- /usr/lib/lpsched).
