  13. I'm trying to compile the whatis database under 4.0.5. I am
  14. getting error messages that nroff, eqn, and tbl are not found.
  15. This is not surprising in itself since we don't have the
  16. Document Developer's Toolkit. What I need to know is this...
  17. is there any way to compile this database so that makewhatis
  18. does not need these programs?
