  27. It's the drive hardware.  Believe it or not, it was the best available
  28. at that time.  We will probably switch to the Insite or Iomega floptical
  29. in the future (date unknown), which has larger buffers on the drive,
  30. and handles a special 20 MB media (which is *not* cheap, the
  31. 20 MB media lists for about $25 US) as well as the 720K and 1.4 MB
  32. common media.
