  14. I have been having a problem with an rpc application running on our
  15. SGI 440 running irix 4.01. We are using rpc over udp to send a high rate of
  16. udp packets from a group of MVME 167 (68040) monoboards running VxWorks to the
  17. SGI. At present we have 6 monoboards connected to 2 different ethernet 
  18. interfaces.

  20. Problem: when running at a high data rate, the SGI networking will periodically
  21. hang for 10 minutes or so. It is possible to log on from the console but not 
  22. over the network.
