  11. Thanks a lot for help regarding the Xlib problem I am having, compiling
  12. my application on different platforms.

  14. I have narrowed down the problem a bit more. It always crashes with the
  15. following error:

  17. Process  2178 (test) Bus error [_XrmInternalStringToQuark:136 ,0x4243c0]
  18.     Source (of Quarks.c) not available for Process  2178
  19.  
  20. This happens not only in XQueryFonts(), but also in XInternAtom().
  21.  
  22. I did not use piece of code posted in response to my earlier posting, by
  23. beyer@bflsgu.fl.bs.dlr.de (Ralf Beyer DLR), yet. My applications are totally 
  24. based on Xlib (libX11.a) only. They do not use Xt at all. But I will give it 
  25. a try if I have to.

  27. Apparently the problem is not of X(Load)QueryFont() alone.
