  18. I don't know about the Montage film recorder, but the Apple
  19. LaserWriter should work fine with the "Generic PostScript" driver
  20. included in IRIX 4.0.1.

  22. Bring up the Print Manager from the system toolchest or by typing
  23. /usr/lib/vadmin/printers, choose "Add Printer" and serial or parallel
  24. and you should get a list of supported printers which includes the
  25. "Generic PostScript" printer.  Name it and push accept.

  27. Once it's done, you should be able to just say "lp -d<name> <file>",
  28. where file is one of text, PostScript, or SGI Image (.rgb, .sgi, or
  29. .bw).
