- Don't get excited, now: I don't have any new info. But maybe
- some of you have partial or full answers to some of my questions.
-
- Has Apple's Newton Group fired up its beta test program yet?
- Is there a Particular Person (with a Particular Name and a
- Particular Telephone And FAX Number) who leads this effort?
-
- Have any "small" developers received anything other than
- the 22 October '92 comminuque from Newton Developer Relations?
-
- Do *you* have reliable information about the current technical
- state of the Newton product? Has it's physical design changed,
- or are additional versions of Newton in the works? What accesories
- are planned for the device? What is Newton's handscrawling recognition
- factor? What hardware and software tools have been, or are being,
- created for Newton development? What marketing and distribution programs
- has Apple planned for third-party software? Has Apple entered into
- formal development agreements with third parties beyond those
- recruited to develop the basic product?
-
- Lastly, what information sources do *you* find give timely information
- about the state of Newton?
-
- Thanks,
-
- Rod
