- I recently purchased the 95 and am now trying to familiarize myself
- with its features. I am an hp28 calculator user and find the hierarchy
- of variable definitions an indispensable aid for evaluating complex
- functions.
-
- On the 28 I can define variables
-
- y=m x + b
- m=log(z1)
- and
- b=exp(z2)
-
- and the solver will make the substitutions automatically so that
- all I need to do is define z1, z2, and x in order to compute y.
- If z1 is changed then I can directly re-compute y without having
- to re-evaluate m. The re-evaluation of m is done automatically.
-
- Is this feature available on the 95? I have not been able to find
- the way to do it. If not, is there some program available that will
- provide this capability?
