- I did have experience an LCD problem as well; a few weeks after I bought my
- PC-3000, four columns on the display went exteremely light. Pressing on the
- top of the screen above the columns would fix it for awhile. Some loose
- connector or cold solder joints...

- The dealer swapped it, and I've experienced no further display problems since.

- I have found that running sneaky software, especially ones that try to play
- music or voice synthesis through the PC's speaker, will crash the machine,
- clobbering the ram drives... I'd advise backing up before running any new
- program on the sharp PC-3[01]00's...
