- AJS->I was told that that particular adapter put out 9 volts so I put it in
- AJS->the FAQ List that way. I'll change it now. My 95 manual lists the
- AJS->maximum as 12 volts so I wouldn't expect it to be a problem, but I
- AJS->can't guarantee anything.

- I've used a 12-volt AC adapter for a while and I quit using it. It
- _WILL_ work, but the bottom of my HP gets a little toasty. I spent the
- extra $5 or so and bought a Rat Shack universal AC adapter that puts out
- 9V, and now I dont have any heat buildup problems. HP sez that 12V is
- okay, but the person I talked to on the phone said they reccommended 9V
- if anyone can help it.
