- I use the serial cable to connect the 95 with a PS/2 running AIX and
- and RS/6000. With both I just connect the cable, select comm mode on
- the 95, and log into the big system. To transfer files I use a xmodem
- program on the large system and the xmodem support built into the 95s
- comm program. Kermit is there as well.

- One minor point, on some systems (like my PS/2) the cable will work
- by just plugging it into the serial port whereas on other systems
- (like the RS/6000) the three signals provided by the 95 are
- insufficient. On these systems, tie pins 6, 8 and 20 together and
- pins 4 and 5 together:
