- I am upgrading a NWLITE server to NW311 10 user system. The server
- has an IDE drive (Connor 200MB). I did the following:
- - delete the old DOS partition
- - create a 2MB DOS partition
- - run server
- - load IDE.DSK
- - load INSTALL
- - choose Disk Options
- - choose Partition Tables
- I then get a message to the effect that Netware can't find any
- drives and suggests to load the disk driver.
-
- I have tried ISADISK (the latest downloaded from the ftp server)
- with the same results. I tried the switches that are documented in
- the README.311 file for ISADISK with the IDE driver (my dealer told
- me they are the same) - /b and /l with similar results. There was
- no documentation with the IDE driver that mentioned any switches.
-
- Does anyone have any suggestions that I haven't tried? Also, does
- anyone know any undocumented or obscurely documented switches of
- any kind for IDE.DSK or ISADISK.DSK? Any one know a source for
- information on these options? I am tired of rebuilding the old
- server time and again trying various options that won't work!!!!!
