- It most certainly does! It utilizes Novell broadcast messages (read the
- manual or even the readme's for gosh sakes!) Charon can also notify but it
- would be redundant if you're using pmail. If you're not seeing the messages
- under windows, you probably don't have nwpopup.exe loaded (you specify it in
- system.ini). If you can see regular Novell Broadcast messages, you can see
- the messages from pmail. If an individual user wants to disable the
- notification because it bugs them, you can turn in off in pmail in Extended
- Features under preferences. There is also a program included with pmail
- called newmail.exe that checks your mailbox for unread mail. This is
- usually included in the login script (again, as described in the manual).
