- Your wording implies that you're not trying to use IPXODI over LSL and the
- the 3C509 driver, but that you're trying to use the older, dedicated IPX
- to talk IPX, and the ODI driver for IP. It's the ODI driver that lets you
- run both at once.
-
- Your NET.CFG would something like
-
- Link Driver 3C509
- [...hardware settings...]
- Frame Ethernet_II
- Protocol IPX 8137 Ethernet_II
-
- Load IPXODI.COM and TCPIP.EXE in whatever order you wish. They'll both
- cheerfully work at the same time.
-
- I also suspect from your dilemma that you "just bought" LWP v4.01. We've
- been shipping v4.1 now for just over 3 weeks. You should be able to get a
- free upgrade if you purchased LWP v4.01 recently. Call 800-UPDATE1. The
- install procedure for v4.1 will handle the ODI/NetWare configuration for
- you, v4.01 assumed (erroneously) that folks could figure it out from the
- docs.
