- Hi, Steve.
- A few things to check out:
- Use the telnet.pif file in the ncsa 2.3 distribution.
- Make sure You check the "Display Usage: Full Screen" and
- "Execution: Exclusive" check boxes in the ncsa telnet .pif file.
- Also, exclude the umb area Your NIC uses if You use emm386.exe
- dos expanded memory manager. Same goes for QEMM and others.
- If You use dos5/emm386, this is done by adding to config.sys:
- device=c:/dos/emm386.exe [noems|ram] x=cc00-cfff
- Note that if You use the `ram` option, the EMS page frame will
- locate to 64k (?) at d000-dfff (?), at least start at d000 unless
- You also specify FRAME=<whatever>. See Your local, friendly DOS
- guru for help with this one. Also please correct me if I`m wrong.
- Finally, in Your /windows/system.ini,
- under the [386Enh] section, add the line:
- Emmexclude=cc00-cfff
- (of course, this is if Your NIC uses 16 k from cc00 to cfff.
- Change it to whatever range Your NIC uses).
