- Well, so far so good with Pegasus. We have most of our company running
- with it, and no problems in the two months since it was installed.
- Charon has also been great, though I've run into hardware problems with
- the junky PC running it.
-
- We're entering a new phase of deployment next week: adding Macintosh
- computers to the network. On a strong recommendation, I've decided to
- use Pegasus for them as well (that'll keep things real simple, too).
- The Mac version is on omnigate.clarkson.edu, though that copy is much
- older than the DOS version we've been using.
-
- You need the Mac NLM from Novell in order to integrate Macs into the
- network. The quality of software I've gotten from Novell over the years
- has gradually won me over to grudging respect for their engineering
- staff (if not their marketing department), so the decision to buy the
- Mac NLM was a no-brainer.
