  20. frames? If the other workstations are using 'raw' 802.3, set your CoExistence
  21. version of IPX.COM back to that with ECONFIG. (I can't remember the syntax
  22. off hand).

  24. If that works, then your server probably isn't using Ethernet_II properly.

  26. If that works, then there may be some other problem. Try setting up a
  27. bare system that just loads the NDIS drivers:
  28. CONFIG.SYS
  29.     DEVICE=C:\DECNET\PROTMAN.SYS /I:C:\DECNET
  30.     DEVICE=C:\DECNET\???????.DOS      (NDIS driver for ethernet card)
  31.     nothing else, except files, buffers and shell, as necesary)

  34.     C:\DECNET\IPXNDIS.COM       (or just IPX.COM)
  35.     C:\DECNET\NETBIND

  38. If this doesn't work, and there are no other error messages, and PathWorks
  39. did work, then install straight Novell drivers on this PC, and see if it can
  40. work that way. I would be inclined to point the finger at a bad NDIS driver
  41. for your Ethernet board at this point.
