- What NLMs are available for hooking a CD ROM drive to a Novell server? We have
- a Novell 3.11 server and we would like to add a CD ROM file system to it. We
- have a Toshiba XM-2200A SCSI CD ROM drive, a Pioneer DRM 600 SCSI CD ROM drive,
- and a Future Domain 845 SCSI adapter that we can use if it makes the solution
- less expensive.
-
- Are there versions of Novell running under SunOS on SPARCs? (Novell SunLink?)
- If so, how much does it cost and how well does it work? We have a SparcStation
- that is not being used for very much that we could easily attach a CD ROM drive
- to. If Novell run under SunOS (I'm assuming that it would make SunOS file
- systems appear as Novell filesystems [as opposed to creating a Novell filesystem
- in one large SunOS file]) we could just use this to make the CD ROM file system
- available. This solution would also make our life simpler in a number of other
- ways so we would be interested in it even if it was considerably more expensive
- than adding an NLM to the existing server.

- Thanks in advance for any comments,
-
