  17. We are trying to move our Novell 3.11 server for the Mac
  18. from an ALR 386 model 220 to a gateway 386SX 25 because
  19. the old server is only able to support 6Megs Max or
  20. RAM memory.  We need to add more hard disk space (1300Megs)
  21. from the existing 600Megs and eventually move to a 
  22. a 50 - 100 user network.

  24. The old server has an Ultrastor ESDI 12F controller card
  25. for the 600Megs it currently has, a 3com c3503 Ethernet
  26. card and a SCSI Ultrastor 14F card for the 1300Megs that
  27. I'm adding.  The Drive is formatted and the volume is
  28. set up, I just can't mount it since my RAM is limited.

  30. My question is: 
  31. Is there an eventual problem with this transfer?

  33. The fact that the new server will be a 386SX 25
  34. and with all the cards it has - will there
  35. be a bus conflict?

  37. Can I just copy over the system files and move the
  38. cards or do I have to reinstall Novell to the new
  39. computer?
