  12. Has anyone experienced trouble using NetInfo and Multiple Groups?

  15. I have a situation that I have defined 20 groups within an single  
  16. directory.  The groups are defined with the root netinfo.

  23. engl4:*:304:jjones,user4

  43. I defined the group using niload.
  44.  
  45. Originally I setup about 15 of the groups.  I then added the additional 5  
  46. users.  The original groups were recognized (I could use the groups to add  
  47. read/write permisson to jjones).

  49. After, I added additional groups.  I have had problems trying to access  
  50. the additional groups (i.e., engl16...engl20) without any success.

  52. Is there any limitation to the number of groups you can define?
  53. Is there a limit of characters that you can name groups?

  56. I have had this problem before.  I had to rebuild the network copy of the  
  57. NetInfo and started to rebuild it from scratch.
