- Having two (possibly related) problems with NeXTMail.

- 1) No receipt is ever received (I request a read receipt, the addressee
- reads the message, but I never get a receipt).

- 2) The nodename on messages is being truncated
- (userid@crob.flint.umich.edu becomes userid@crob). This is OK as long as
- our local nameserver is running, but when it is down (or overworked),
- messages are sent on to its nameserver for processing and the message
- bounces with Host Unknown. Also - it seems to only be doing it to messages
- destined for the same domain (userid@infotech.tamu.edu works OK).
