  11. Having two (possibly related) problems with NeXTMail.

  13. 1) No receipt is ever received (I request a read receipt, the addressee  
  14. reads the message, but I never get a receipt).
  15.  
  16. 2) The nodename on messages is being truncated  
  17. (userid@crob.flint.umich.edu becomes userid@crob).  This is OK as long as  
  18. our local nameserver is running, but when it is down (or overworked),  
  19. messages are sent on to its nameserver for processing and the message  
  20. bounces with Host Unknown. Also - it seems to only be doing it to messages  
  21. destined for the same domain (userid@infotech.tamu.edu works OK).
