DialupIP will support '-NXHost' transactions across
the slip interface. To set this up on my remote
client, I started up the slip.rc early in the rc
boot, and prevented en0 from being enabled in
hostconfig. Thus slip0 will be the only interface
up on the client. You will get a couple of warnings
from nmserver (it will use a broadcast of 255.255.255.255)
but it's not fatal, and from then on, -NXHost re-directs
will work in either direction (although slowwwerr :-) ).

Also be sure that 'fake' arp entries exist on the server
for the remote client(s) as permanent and published. This
can be accomplished by adding an appropriate arp command
at the end of slip.rc (This makes the server a gateway to
your client from the rest of the internet - assuming also
that the client's name and IP is fully registered in your
domain - and will allow connectivity internet-wide).
