- I was testing the Ocean Vista 256 3.5 inch optical and learned the following:

- 1) NS 3.0's BuildDisc Application doesn't seem to work; therefore
- using the Optical as an external boot device won't work yet.

- 2) There is a difference between device address and SCSI address.
- I believe that the external peripheral should be SCSI #0 to become
- the external boot device. Also, in booting from the ROM monitor I believe
- that one is addressing the device number which is different from the
- SCSI address. I forget the exact designations but everything concerning
- SCSI address and device numbers is explained in the upgrade documentation
- provided with NS 3.0 CD.
