- Could someone please explain for me the workings of the
- Recycler on mounted file systems across a network. In
- particular, I don't understand why in some circumstances,
- some network users can recycle files physically located on
- other machines, while in other circumstances those same
- users get a message panel that says "This file is located
- on a disk without recycler. Continuing will destroy the
- file."
-
- As I cruise the network file system, I find that every user has
- ~/.NeXT/.NextTrash. But also, every machine has a /.NextTrash
- that is loaded with multiple subdirectories named for the users.
-
- What gives??
