  34. Just to clarify here:  (1)  nexttex-alpha contains ENHANCEMENTS to NeXT-TeX
  35. 2.0.  It DOES NOT contain all of NeXT-TeX 2.0, which you need to install
  36. first.  It contains texview-a9, so grabbing that is redundant.  (2)  Because
  37. the versions of TeXview and dvips became "wedded" during the development of 
  38. NeXT-TeX 3.0, grabbing texview-a9 by itself does you no good as it will
  39. not run with the old version of dvips you have, and it ALSO DOES NOT run
  40. with dvips5497.  DO NOT grab 5497 unless you are running NeXTstep 3.0
  41. (and if you are running NS 3.0 then definitely go get 5497 because it 
  42. fixes several minor bugs --- and perhaps a few not so minor --- in the 
  43. NeXT-TeX 3.0 release).
