- Hello, net people!
-
- I noticed that there is a front-end software that enables us to use
- Webster from Emacs, that is webster.el. But I found that this didn't
- work on NeXT. As I checked into the webster.el, I found that there must
- be some trouble when it is trying to establish a telnet process. Then I
- tried M-x telnet. It asked me for a host machine and then displayed a
- prompt "telnet> ", that's all. As I did the same thing on another
- machine than NeXT, I found the following message to come...
-
- ------------------
- telnet> Trying XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX..
- Connected to audrey.
- Escape character is '^]'.
-
-
- NeXT Mach (audrey) (ttyp0)

- So, something is wrong with telnet.el on NeXT. Has somebody fixed this
- problem already? Any information is welcome. Thanks in advance.
