- Yeah. A project like this was done for the University of MO medical
- center. Customized mike unit with an interface into the computer (can't
- remember which port they used though) and some software to go with it
- that basically emulated exactly what the doctors would do with their
- traditional Dictaphone. Unfortunately, after dinking around with it for
- the last year, they decided not to go forward with a purchase. Typical
- approach and attitude for this part of the country. I think it fell
- victim to the "champagne appetite on a beer budget" syndrome.
