  26. I don't see a smiley after #2, so I assume you didn't understand their  
  27. point. The 2.9 is just their way of saying that 3.0 isn't quite up to  
  28. par - short of a "real" 3.0 - therefore it must have been 2.9. Poetic  
  29. license, I think, not a typo.
