  12. Following our department's upgrade from NeXT 2.1 to 3.0, several 
  13. users started noticing the following strange behavior with 
  14. FrameMaker (version 3.0.1).  Occasionally, in the document window
  15. of an open document, the background of a page turns black.  Using
  16. redisplay (control-L) does not clear the problem, but paging forward
  17. and back does.  The person who runs into this problem the most says
  18. she leaves FrameMaker documents open overnight, and it is documents
  19. that are left idle that are subject to this problem.  At the same
  20. time there are console messages such as:

  26. Anybody have any idea about what is going on?  The machines in question
  27. are NetBoot clients, so the filesystems are used via NFS.
