G&M's book, combined with a 3.0 system and NeXT's printed versions of
"NeXTSTEP Development Tools and Techniques: Release 3" and "NeXTSTEP
General Reference: Release 3, Volume 1 & 2" is everything you need
to leap feet first into real world, serious NeXT hacking.  I wish I'd
had this book two years ago when I started.  The single nicest thing
about the book is its emphasis on building a fulll blown application-it's not a
series of demo programs strung together, but a clear, well thought
(set of) application(s) that they're talking about building (and build).

The only depressing thing about this book is the fact that it points out
all the great books that should/could be written for the NeXT market.
Let's hope the market continues to expand so books of equivalent caliber
on other areas (like the two they talk about in the intro) will be
written.

Congrats to Simson and Michael for a job well done.  It's been long in
coming; I'm just happy it's here so I can recommend it.
