  13. My previous post got garbled somehow ;-( Here's what I hope will be a complete  
  14. post.

  16. I have what I believe is a network related problem, but my network gurus here  
  17. have been unable to track down any problems. The symptons are that whenever I  
  18. perform some function that requires network access (nfs, ftp, ...) I get error  
  19. messages of the following sort logged:

  39. Network access is definitely slower than before these symptons cropped up.  
  40. Also, ping gives unusual results as shown:
