- My previous post got garbled somehow ;-( Here's what I hope will be a complete
- post.
-
- I have what I believe is a network related problem, but my network gurus here
- have been unable to track down any problems. The symptons are that whenever I
- perform some function that requires network access (nfs, ftp, ...) I get error
- messages of the following sort logged:
-
- Spurious DMA interrupt - state = 1000000 @ 2000110
- en0: transmitter not ready
- spurious DMA interrupt
- Jan 5 15:00:45 gandalf su: druck on /dev/ttyp1
- spurious DMA interrupt
- spurious DMA interrupt
- NFS server frodo not responding still trying
- Jan 5 15:45:12 gandalf lookupd[77]: netinfo failure, sleeping
- NFS server frodo ok
- Jan 5 15:59:31 gandalf lookupd[77]: netinfo waking
- NFS server frodo not responding still trying

- Network access is definitely slower than before these symptons cropped up.
- Also, ping gives unusual results as shown:

- I would appreciate any help in tracking down the cause of these problems.
-
- Thanks!
