- Thanks for the answer. My disk (as I said in the original post)
- is in an external box (The original that came with it). I included
- this answer because it was the only one sure of the problem and had
- previous experience with it. Other answers included:

- 1) Check jumper settings
- 2) Bad or loose cable , terminator etc.
- 3) The disk is dying. Exercise your warranty
- 4) Voltage sensor deciding it does not have enough power to spin.
- and this one:
- 5) Disk is getting hot. Fujitsu's have this problem. It happend to me.

- I placed the disk away from my slab and I'll wait and see. The problem
- did not re-occur yet since the original post about a week ago. (Fingers
- crossed)
