  13. I am writing an application using Excel's macro language. The program
  14. periodically updates graphs, using data obtained from a database that 
  15. runs on a VAX/VMS system.

  17. I are a couple of items in my user interface that I haven't been able
  18. to figure out how to implement using the functions available in Excel.
  19. I've called Microsoft's tech support on 2 different occasions, with 2 
  20. different problems, but wasn't able to get the help I needed.

  22. The folks I talked to at Microsoft were nice enough, and they did try
  23. to help, but my questions were apparently outside the scope of what
  24. the help desk can answer. They recommended that I check their product
  25. support forum on Compuserve. Their programmers are available on there
  26. to answer questions.

  28. That sounds great, but I don't have access to Compuserve, and as far
  29. as I'm concerned, their rates are outrageous. What I was hoping is 
  30. that I would be able to reach someone on the Excel development team
  31. from the Internet. I know that Microsoft has an Internet link, so
  32. it must be possible. I don't know how to reach anyone there, though.

  34. I would be very greatful if someone out there could provide me with
  35. an e-mail address for someone at Microsoft, or a way to reach them 
  36. on Compuserve (via the Internet, I mean). If there is actually 
  37. someone from Microsoft reading this it would be perfect!
