  10. We have a 2G (unformatted) scsi disk that we want to format and use
  11. on a 4680. It's a Fujitsu 2652S-512, and I've formatted it for a Sun
  12. without problems (result is around 1.6G formatted). When I try to
  13. update the volume header for our 4680, it does work. On-line, I see
  14. the following error:

  35. and then format aborts. From the prom monitor, the format command
  36. lets me get a bit further. I specify dkip(1,1) in this program,
  37. and specify the disk as an "other", and provide all the normal
  38. information such as heads and sectors and so on. But when I write
  39. out the new volume header, nothing seems to be changed and the
  40. disk is still unsuable. I cannot format it either. Can anyone
  41. suggest what I'm doing wrong?
