  12.    I am having problems with a particular SIT file, and I was wondering
  13. if anyone could shed any light on what's going on.  Okay, to the facts:

  15. 1) FTp'd a file called "thel*.sit.hqx" (thel something-or-other) from
  16.    wuarchive.wustl.edu, in the /mirrors3/archive.umich/edu/mac/game/adventure
  17.    (FTP'd in BINARY mode)

  19. 2) Zmodemed the file (all 1 meg of it) to my machine using Zterm 0.9
  20.  
  21. 3) used Binhex 4.0 to un-binhex the HQX file
  22.  
  23. 4) I land up with thel*.SIT (doing a GET INFO says it's a Stuffit 1.5.1
  24.    document) - HOWEVER it does not have the typical Stuffit logo on the
  25.    icon, and while double-clicking on it will load in Stuffit,
  26.    Stuffit will not recognize it as a Stuffit file (i.e. it doesn't
  27.    show up when I try to do an OPEN FILE)

  29.    What am I doing wrong here?  This pattern of 1 2 3 (and un-Sitting)
  30. usually works.  I didn't check for any extraneous header information
  31. above the "(this file must be converted with Bixhex 4.0)" line - would
  32. that cause this?

  34.    If anyone can help me out, it would be appreciated.  No doubt I'll
  35. possibly run into this problem again.  Thanks...
