  14. Hi, I have a Mac512 that I am wanting to use as a modem terminal. When I
  15. turn it on, it doesn't give the system beep. Instead, 5 white vertical
  16. bars appear on the screen. What is the problem? The picture is nice and
  17. clear meaning the video must work. So my guess is that it is a motherboard
  18. problem. We opened it up and everything is connected solidly. The only
  19. thing that was loose was the fan. Any ideas? Just email your reponses
