- Don't you have the manual? The NT stands for something like Narrow ...
- I do not remember exactly. The problem is due to chinese characters
- were represented as 2 bytes. In chinese, every character is
- self-contained in a rectanglar area and no space needed to separate
- them. So how can word processors determine when to do a wrap-around
- to next line? Some s/w like hypercard can do it well, while for others,
- you need to insert space.
-
- If you ought to take care inserting space when the line reach right hand
- margin, it is a headache just like you do not have auto wrap around and
- proportional spacing even not work.
-
- One solution is to have a space between every character (every 2 bytes).
- It leads to another problem: there exists too much space between chars.
- NT fonts are fonts with narrow space (you can insert wide space by using
- chinese input methods) to overcome the shortage.

- The appearence of 2 fonts are same. I keep both fonts, NT for hypercard
- like s/w; MT for others e.g. WriteNow.
