- I just installed GateKeeper 1.2.6, and the first time I restarted
- the computer, no notifications appeared. However, later after a restart,
- it seemed that some INITs and cdevs were trying to modify their own resource
- fork. Here's the list of INITs and cdevs trying to do this:
- Carpetbag
- Extensions Manager
- AutoDoubler 1.0.7i
- QuickTime 1.5
- HDT Extension (part of FWB HD Toolkit)
- FaxMonitor
-
- Gatekeeper log showed that they were violating Res(Self) privilege,
- the operation they tried was RsrcMapEntry(what this means?), and the resource
- they tried to modify was their own INIT resource.
- Is this normal behavior for INITs or is there something wrong?
