- I read someone saying something about Times Two in this newsgroup a few days
- ago. I have used Times Two for a while now, and I am really mad at Golden
- Triangle. While it _mostly_ works, it does corrupt a great amount of data.
- Even after I upgraded from version 1.0 to version 1.0.1, I have had to
- restore backups almost 6 times in a one-month time frame due to Times Two's
- lossy compression.
- While Times Two's technology may be the wave of the future, Golden Triangle
- has in no way perfected that technology yet. Times Two does NOT support
- partitioning. It installs its own driver that takes up over 10 megs of Times
- Twoed space.
- I have heard about two other products that do the same thing as Times Two,
- eDisk by Alysis and Stacker by Stac. These install an extension to your
- current driver, a feature which allows for partitioning and which is *much*
- safer than what Times Two does.
- Unless you like lots of crashes and lossy compression at lossless ratios,
- don't waste your money on Times Two.
