  40. Sounds like you are using the SUM Optimizer to optimize your disk.
  41. This is the only optimizer that has ever done this.  This optimizer
  42. is obsolete so there is no fix other than to get the Symantec upgrade
  43. to Norton Utilities 2.0.

  45. NOTE: Whenever you run a low level utility on your drive you should
  46. ALWAYS boot with the boot floppy that comes with the utility so that
  47. you are running with a "clean" system (no extensions).
