- The only problem with ATM 2.0.x and System 7.1 is that ATM does not
- recognize the new Fonts folder. Of course, Suitcase fixes this by looking
- for Printer fonts whereever there it has an open font suitcase (except
- that the fonts in the Fonts folder are not opened by Suitcase). There are
- two solutions (excepting the 3.0 upgrade). One is to keep your printer
- fonts in the Extensions folder where ATM likes 'em, or to hack ATM with
- ResEdit. Here's how (usual caveats apply):
-
- 1. Make a copy of your ATM 68020/030 file to work with, and open it with
- ResEdit
-
- 2. Open the second DCOD resource and search for the ASCII string 'extn',
- and replace it with the ASCII string 'font'. This will help ATM look in
- the right folder for the printer fonts.
-
- 3. Replace the copy in your System folder with the new version.
-
- 4. Move all your Printer fonts to the Fonts folder and reboot. Voila!
-
- I haven't looked at the ATM 68000 file, but I think it works the same for
- that.
- Good Luck!
