- And the same conditions you mention also cause shutdown and reboot. We've
- seen
- it many times. The original request was for a "safe" means of forcing
- power-on
- and shutdown.

- No mention of owning a PowerBook was made. Most users are *not* using
- powerBooks, even though Apple shipped 400,000 units last year. However, I
- mentioned modems being able to do that.
