  12. We have a Mac IIsi an SE and a Plus.  The IIsi is running system 7,
  13. the Plus is running 6.0.3 and the SE is running 6.0.5. I turned on
  14. filesharing and connected the Plus with Appleshare 2.0.1 in the System
  15. Folder.  The Plus was able to connect to the IIsi without a problem.
  16. When I tried the same thing with the SE I got a dialog saying that
  17. some Appleshare resources were not loaded at startup, and to reinstall
  18. them.  I reinstalled and got the same message. When I select
  19. Appleshare from the chooser on the SE, the IIsi shows up as a
  20. fileserver.  I also tried putting the Appleshare from system 7 into
  21. the SE.  When I did this I didn't get the same message, but got into
  22. an infinite loop between two dialogs: 'The disk <fileserver> needs
  23. minor repairs' and 'Unable to build desktop on <fileserver>'.

  25. The SE is running Multifinder 6.1b9 with Desktop manager.  Turning off
  26. other inits didn't change anything.

  28. I don't understand why the Plus connection worked fine and the SE
  29. won't at all.  Can anybody help me?
