  12. I don't see anything in the licensing information that would prevent
  13. someone from downloading and using things like the MPW C include files,
  14. the MPW libraries, or even MPW itself, even if you didn't own MPW
  15. already.

  17. The reason I ask is because if we successfully get a free C compiler
  18. working that was compatable with the c includes and the libraries, we
  19. could use these files from ftp.apple.com instead of having to create
  20. our own.  Doesn't this bother Apple?

  22. To take this to the extreme.  I don't see why you couldn't get MPW
  23. from the archive, and MPW perl from ftp.msen.com, and then write
  24. perl scripts to replace most of the mpw tools.  Would this bother
  25. Apple?
